Job Description
1. Reach out/take initiatives in facilitating patient admission formalities
2. Providing value – added services to the customers to ensure patient
satisfaction
3. Build, strengthen and maintain relationship with the patient
4. Administrative support to the department
5. Answer calls and access patients and handle/ route accordingly
6. Use prompt trouble-shooting techniques in identifying unsatisfied patients and
ensuring recovery to these delinquent patients
7. Perform callbacks to the patients
8. Documentation of activities
9. Liaising with co – functional departments
10. Ensuring all patient queries are handled in a professional and friendly manner
and are followed through from initial enquiry to finalized satisfaction
11. Check about the attitude of healthcare provider on a regular basis from the
patients
12. Brand promotion
13. In conjunction with physicians, evaluates and develops discharge plans,
recommends alternative levels of care and ensures compliance with, state and
local requirements
14. Consults with physicians, health care providers, and discharge planning and
outside agencies regarding continued care/treatment or hospitalization
15. Makes referrals to appropriate community services.
16. Develops and collects data and trends utilization of health care resources interprets regulations, health plan benefits, policies and procedures for members, physicians, and medical office staff, contract providers and outside agencies
17. Coordinates transmission of clinical and benefit treatment to patients, families and outside agencies
