I attended infy test on 06/02/05
here are some of the questions.
1. a frog falls down 30 ft in a well. every day it jumps 3 ft up and
every night it falls down by 2ft. how many days it takes to come out
of the well.
ans 28 days.
2. there is a 1 km long wire places on x poles . if the no of poles
is reduced by 1 then he distance of wire between each poles
increases 1 2/3.how many poles are there initially.
3. another question on ppl and their ages very easy.
david is younger than fred older than........... (3 m)
4. a previous infy question on a jeweller having a left and right
display case and some gems like amethyst, diamond etc easy 1
(8 marks)
5. A and B write a test
A says " i got a third of the ques. wrong"
b says " i got 5 wrong"
together they got three quarters of the questions correct.
how many did a get correct. (5 m)
6. if a die has 1,6 3,4 and 2,5 opposite each other how many such
dies can be made.
7. clark ,jones,mason, smith are 4 ppl. there are 4 professions
druggists,grocer,butcher,policeman.find out who is who (8 m)
1)clark and jones are neighbours and they drive each other to work.
2)jones earns more than mason
3) the police man earns more than the druggists and i "think" the
grocer.
4) the policeman does not have a druggists as a neighbour.
5) the butcher walks to work
6)policeman does not meet the grocer until he arrests him for
committing an offence.
7) clark and smith go for bowling on the weekends
i hope i did not miss any condition
8) there was another question (previous infy one)
a,b,c gives 3 statement each, of which 2 are true and 1 is false.
whats are a,b,c 's ages.
