Fresher - Objective of the Senior Database Analyst
This position will be required to work in a fast paced environment with a multi-disciplinary team of analytical professionals working on the commercial and residential building attributes data product. The person would be responsible for the implementation and Testing of Databases and various applications for multiple data sources. Expertise in determining, developing and presenting effective database solutions is highly desirable. Alongside expert level technical and documentation skills with the ability to liaise with all the stakeholders on a regular basis is highly desirable.
Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:
• Database Testing and SQL Script review.
• ETL Testing
• Requirement analysis and Documentation of processes, test scenarios and test scripts.
• Test Plan, Test Case and checklist development.
• Data analysis and data processing development of relational database.
• Ensure solution requirements such as availability, scalability, and performance
• Able to provide feedback on database architectural and design issues.
• Maintenance of certified scripts, applications and various related documentation.
• This is an individual contributor role.

Experience Required:
Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server 2005\2008.
• Hands on with writing complex Queries, functions and procedures.
• 2-4 years working experience in Database\ETL Testing or SQL development.
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Good Analytical and Logical Ability.
• Quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies, and systems
• Detail-oriented and persistent.
• Prior experience of Test Case\Checklist development for database testing
• Experience on ETL tools like SSIS\ Informatica
• Knowledge or experience in Property Insurance or Reinsurance sector and Risk Assessment Analysis is desirable but not essential
• Exposure to US or Indian commercial or residential building construction practices
• Experience of working with multi-site product development and product management teams
• Good statistical and analysis skills.
